Overview

Ask anything. Store nothing. Automate it all. JS&C Automation is a live, interactive demonstration of the agency’s zero-data-retention (ZDR) agentic AI middleware, the product we sell into SFC-licensed financial firms. Rather than describe the pipelines in a deck, the site lets a prospect watch one run in real time, then see exactly what it would cost to replace.

Built as a high-fidelity front-end simulation, it is the primary lead-generation tool for our compliance-first automation offering.

The Brief

Hong Kong asset managers and brokerages spend HKD 580,000 per year on a junior analyst who spends mornings manually consolidating custodian reports. The decision-maker (a managing director, CCO, or Cyberport grant assessor) needs proof that AI can take the work without touching client data or tripping PCPD, SFC, and HKMA rules. The site had to demonstrate both the automation and the compliance, credibly, in under a minute.

The Product

  • Hero: Ask anything. Store nothing. Automate it all. A live ops ticker showing a real pipeline run (ingest → PII masking → ephemeral RAM execution → AI-vs-AI verification → SHA-256 audit dispatch)
  • Zero-Data-Retention in Four Steps: an interactive architecture explorer for the ingest-and-mask, ephemeral RAM, AI-vs-AI governance, and audit dispatch stages
  • 60-Second Demo: the promotional video embedded directly in the page
  • Connector Matrix: clickable tiles for the universal gateway, spanning BlackRock Aladdin, multi-custodian adapters (HSBC, UBS, Julius Baer, LGT), Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Granola, WhatsApp, Notion, and NetSuite, with each exposing its real payload schema and auth protocol
  • Arbitrage Economics: a headcount slider that prices HKD 958,000 in direct annual savings against reference retainers
  • CCMF Roadmap: a transparent HKD 100,000 Cyberport Creative Micro Fund budget breakdown

The Live Demo

The centrepiece is a 60-second product film, an agent canvas that answers a morning analyst’s questions in real time: consolidated NAV pulled from a custodian API, KYC/AML screening against UN, OFAC and EU lists with a SHA-256 proof for auditors, and one anomaly routed to a human for sign-off. It closes with the numbers that matter: 45 minutes saved every morning, HKD 378K a year, zero PII persisted.

The Interactive Simulator

The /demo page is a full agent console. A visitor selects a workflow (Portfolio NAV consolidation, Teams transcript analysis, or private RAG over their own documents) and watches the pipeline execute step by step: PII fields masked, an ephemeral sandbox in an HK virtual node, two agents verifying against SFC rules, and a clean, audit-proof report dispatched to Teams, Slack, or Xero.

The four-step ZDR pipeline architecture

Everything is deterministic and client-side: no backend, no auth wall, no data ever leaves the browser. It is a simulation built to sell the real thing.

Connectors & Economics

The connector matrix demonstrates that the middleware plugs into the stack a licensed firm already runs: BlackRock Aladdin for IBOR positions, custodian portal adapters, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace for document flow, Granola and Fireflies for meeting intelligence, Xero and NetSuite for ledger reconciliation.

The connector matrix

Beside it, the arbitrage calculator makes the case quantitatively: at two FTEs, HKD 1,160,000 of traditional cost against HKD 202,000 all-in, an 83% reduction. Reference retainers (Starter HKD 8k, Core HKD 12k, Pro HKD 15k, Scale HKD 27k+ per month) anchor the conversation.

Design & Engineering

  • Next.js with a client-side state machine driving every simulated pipeline stage on deterministic timers
  • Framer Motion for purposeful, restrained transitions throughout
  • The JS&C editorial design system, with its warm cream background, sage green accent, and Georgia display type, extended with IBM Plex Mono for audit logs and cryptographic proofs
  • Fully responsive, zero auth overhead, WCAG-compliant contrast, structured JSON-LD
  • Deployed to automation.jonathansimpson.co via Vercel

Outcome

The demo converts a technical capability into a self-serve sales motion: a prospect can experience the middleware, price it, and book a consultation without talking to us first. It also anchors the Cyberport CCMF grant application. The roadmap on the page is the roadmap in the application.
